See where you're at in relation to the regs and any other topics or issues you wish to have inspected.

Hours of Service is always a top 5 violation  item in roadside inspections.  Make sure you're up to date on the rules.

Have you completed all the required pre-employment and new driver paperwork?  Are your DQ files up to date and filed correctly?  Have you completed your annual requirements?

Do your drivers complete DVIR's daily?  Do you have them filed correctly?  Are DVIR's with defects addressed properly?

We can currently offer same day Vermont state driver motor vehicle records.  Pre-employment, annual, and routine reports.

Do you have a maintenance program?  Are you perfroming PM's to your vehicles based on a schedule?  Are your mechanics qualified to inspect and repair air brakes?  Are you documenting repairs properly?

What's the condition of your fleet?  Is your maintenance team performing proper repairs?  Inspect your vehicles in your terminal to catch problems before they get on the road.

Do your drivers follow the rules?  Random and unannounced driver observations help you know if they are.

We will assist you in registration to the Clearinghouse, pre-employment queries, annual queries, and follow up full queries.

Driver training.  Classroom and hands.  Extra focus on what places a vehicle out of service.

Driver and/or mechanic training.  Proper completion of the DVIR, what's required.  Who's responsible for what?

Hours of service was the number one driver out of service item in Roadcheck 2017.  Your supervisors and drivers must know the HOS rules.  The new ELD mandate is still unclear to many fleets, get up to speed on what's required and for who.

Proper PM's drive down costs, increase uptime, and improve driver moral.  Effective PM's are a must in today's trucking world!

Cutting the brake chamber pushrod is fundemantally one of the most important set up orocesses to proper functioning air brakes.  Make sure your mechanics know and use procedure.the proper 

Driver training.  This training can be customized to the particular cargo you're hauling.

Proper documentation of repairs is required but also a must have defensive measure in the event of an accident or mechanical failure.  From review by supervisors or managers, to repair orders written by mechanics, all must be familiar with what is required.

Mechanic training.  Standard training is basic OSHA Tire Service training.  This training is often customized to fit your processes and needs.  Some clients have drivers inflate tires, if so, they must also be trained.

Brakes was the number one vehicle out of service item in Roadcheck 2017.  This training is taught at the very most basic level, identifying the system, components, how they work, basic troubleshooting, etc.  If more advanced air brake training is needed contact Terry to discuss your needs.

Train your supervisors in the process and procedures with this required topic.
